Start – Vincent Jackson, WR, Buccaneers

Jackson had a solid Week 1 against the New York Jets, with seven receptions for 154 yards against a tough Jets secondary. Against a Saints defense that has looked awful against big-play wide receivers, Jackson is set up to have a huge game in the home opener for Tampa Bay. With his size, strength and elite route running skills, Jackson is set up for a field day against an inexperienced and lousy New Orleans defense.

Sit – Steve Johnson, WR, Bills

Johnson faces a tough match-up against a Carolina defense that held Seattle to 12 points in Week 1. With a secondary that has greatly improved, combined with a front seven that is one of the best in the league, the Panthers are looking strong heading into Week 2. The Bills’ offensive line had problems containing blitz packages against the Patriots last week, and with a team like Carolina that relies on putting pressure on the quarterback, Johnson won’t see a lot of targets or opportunities to make big plays.

Start – Matt Forte, RB, Bears

Forte returns this season back from a tumultuous and injury-plagued 2012 ready to rock and roll. With a strong performance against an elite Bengals defense last week, Forte has a ton of momentum heading into a match-up with a Vikings defense that allowed 91 rushing yards and 101 receiving yards to Lions running back Reggie Bush last week. With a running back like Forte who is active in the passing game, he is set up for a monster game against a Minnesota defense with no confidence or answer to defending the screen passing game.

Sit – Chris Johnson, RB, Titans

Johnson had a tough time getting into a rhythm in Week 1, rushing for just 70 yards on 25 attempts on the ground. Against an elite defense in Houston, Johnson is expected to have more of the same results if not worse. With Brian Cushing back to anchor the Texans defense, this run defense is aimed to be back in elite form when it comes to stopping top tier running backs in the NFL. Defensive end J.J. Watt is aimed to have a field day against the offensive line of the Titans, which will limit Johnson’s ability to get to the outside and break out for big runs.

Start – Michael Vick, QB, Eagles

Vick faces a Chargers defense that had a ton of problems stopping the run last season. With a Chip Kelly offense that relies on read-options and play-action passes from the quarterback, Vick is sure to have a great day against San Diego. The Chargers secondary is beat up, and with weapons such as LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson, and Riley Cooper, the Eagles have plenty to work with heading into this game. Expect Vick to make big plays early and often against a San Diego team searching for a defensive identity.
