WSU’s Writing Program has earned national recognition.

At the annual Conference in College Composition and Communication, WSU will receive the “Writing Program Certificate of Excellence.” “The program impressed the committee in a number of ways, especially its remarkably successful assessment program, its remarkable inclusiveness, and its ability to sustain its excellence in the face of change,” wrote CCCC Chairman Charles Bazerman in his notification letter to WSU Writing Program co-directors Diane Kelly-Riley and Lisa Johnson-Shull.

WSU is one of 20 programs to receive CCCC certificates since they were first awarded in 2004.
