Auditions for the “Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience” will be held at 7 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Eastside Market Space in Moscow.

Everyone 18 years old or older is encouraged to audition, Directory Jerry L. Schutz said.

“We don’t honestly care if they have done anything before or not,” he said.

Actors are needed for all the main characters, as well as for numerous Transylvanians. Schutz does not foresee the need to cut anyone out of the performance. He hopes to place everyone who auditions in a role, he said.

The “Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience” is a live theatrical production of the play that takes place in front of a big screen, which will be showing the Fox film simultaneously, Schutz said.

This will be the fourth time that Moscow has hosted the production. In the past, audience members have attended the show dressed in character, Schutz said. People have even come from as far away all over the state.

“Every time I do this, I am truly amazed by the amount of fanaticism that Rocky fans have,” Schutz said.

Performances will be at 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight on Nov. 6 and 7 at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow.
